A consideration of public relations, marketing, and social media.

Hello everyone!

I’m Anna Johnson based out of Madison, Wis. I consider myself to a self-starter, optimistic, and a dog lover. I enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. After all, spontaneity is the spice of life.  This is my third year studying at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, but my first year studying as a Journalism and Mass Communication major.

In this blog I’ll be looking into specific examples of public relations and advertising in action. I hope to learn more about our society’s inner-workings and how strategic communications impacts our culture. I am also interested in the way social media is shaping the way we share and consume information. I’m continuously looking to expand my knowledge and I look forward to the opportunities that may come from working with this blog.
